Financial Assistance

While tuition at Midwest Academy is set at approximately $10,000 less than the national average of schools serving children with learning style differences, the cost of a private education is an honorous obligation for many families.

Due to our generous donors and fundraising efforts, we are able to offer financial assistance to many families each year. Eligibility includes consideration of current expenses relative to family income among other factors, as well as the availability of tuition assistance at the time of application. Maximum financial aid is 50 percent of tuition, after deposit.

Families may submit financial aid applications beginning in January, for aid to be awarded the following school year. Financial aid applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Families are notified of their awards once all application materials are provided.

A software program maintained by the National Association of Independent Schools calculates award values based upon information provided by families. Maintaining a high standard of confidentiality, the business office utilizes these results and awards funds, as they are available. Copies of tax returns (requested via 4506-T) and W-2 forms confirming application information are required annually.

More specific information about the financial aid process are provided in these letters.
