The purpose of the Midwest Academy’s Parents’ Association is to work with the administration and staff in support of the school’s mission, programs, and activities.The parents’ association serves several important functions:
- Serve as a forum for the expression and exchange of ideas between parents and the school
- Provide parent education
- Help parents and families connect with each other
- Assist with disseminating Midwest information
- Support and promote school events and activities
All Midwest parents, grandparents, and/or caregivers are welcomed members of the Parents’ Association. Scheduled Parents’ Association events can be found on the school calendar. Our meetings typically promote upcoming events at school or focus on specific education/discussion topics.
Some of the events we host include the Fall and Spring Dads’ Breakfasts, Teacher Appreciation, the Scholastic Book Fair, and students’ evening and weekend social events.
We also help welcome new families as they transition into Midwest Academy. The Newcomers’ Breakfast is an excellent way to help welcome new families as they transition into Midwest Academy.
