Adulting 101

Adulting 101 is designed to assist students to enter the ‘adult’ world ready to fulfill their role as productive citizens, who are able to tackle the responsibilities and complexities encountered throughout life. The curriculum supports the knowledge and skills that students need as community members both now and in the future. In addition, it teaches all students to understand, investigate, and plan for the management of their daily lives.  They will develop medical literacy to interact with a physician, learn how to access their medical information, understand the importance of nutrition along with meal planning and introductory cooking skills. Students will also learn the basics of home repair, car maintenance, childcare, and household chores.
