Economics

During the course of this class, students will learn the fundamentals of both macro and microeconomics. This course will examine the allocation of scarce resources and economic reasoning used by people as consumers and producers. This class will allow students to prepare to make educated decisions regarding key economic concepts such as scarcity, opportunity costs and trade-offs, supply and demand, market structures, and the roles of government and financial institutions. Students will also gain an understanding of the stock market and how it impacts the US economy, and by extension their own lives.
