Physics is a lab science course that studies matter, energy, and their interactions. It is designed to be a junior or senior level course for students that have already completed at least one other lab science. This course focuses on classical mechanics and energy. During the year, the focus will shift from teacher designed labs and research to ones created and led by students. Major concepts covered include linear and circular motion, projectile motion and machines, energy and motion of collisions, gravity and relativity, matter and energy, thermodynamics, electricity, circuits, and light and nuclear physics.
