Taekwondo is an ancient Korean form of Martial Arts. The scientific art of Taekwondo teaches the virtues of self-discipline, respect, concentration and competition. A hallmark of Taekwondo is the teaching of mental strength as well as physical strength.Taekwondo training begins at the white belt level. Students become familiar with the preparation it takes to be ready for specific techniques with meditation, stretching, and cardio exercises. Each student is involved in both individual training and group training. As training progresses, students learn kicking combinations, forms, sparing and board breaking techniques and terminology.
