Rob Baker

Development Committee Chair

Rob joined the Midwest Academy Board of Trustees in February 2018.  He currently serves as the Chair of the Development Committee.  Professionally, Rob is part of the leadership team at Community Health Network Foundation where is the Executive Director of Operations. 

Rob is actively involved in his church where he teaches Sunday school to 6th, 7th and 8th graders.  He is also involved in several mission related activities including the food pantry, Christmas Benevolence and The Indianapolis Great Banquet programs. 

Rob received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Purdue University in 1977and his Juris Doctor degree from Indiana University School of Law – Indianapolis in 1984.  He lives in Carmel with his wife and 5 ½ year old doodle named Mollie.  Rob has a son that recently graduated from college and daughter living in Cincinnati, OH.

Kathy Clark

President

The proud parent of a 2014 Midwest Academy graduate, Kathy is very passionate about Midwest and truly enjoys seeing the growth and transformation that continues to occur with current students. She has served on the Midwest Board since January 2013 and is a retired registered nurse. (BSN from Indiana University).

Kathy is very involved in serving in her community. She currently serves as an Elder at Second Presbyterian Church and is involved with Presbyterian Women at Second Presbyterian Church.

A Carmel resident, Kathy loves spending time with her husband and two grown children. She is an avid reader and also enjoys outdoor activities such as horseback riding and gardening.

Melinda W. Fisher

Melinda’s experience in independent school admissions, communications and development has been helpful in supporting Midwest Academy since she first joined the Board in 2013.

“I love the safety and the devotion children receive at Midwest Academy that is not available to them in other schools,” she says. “Their success is a joy to see.”

Currently a consultant, Melinda spent 11 years at St Richard’s Episcopal Church. She earned a BS in Business Administration from Clemson University and an MBA from Wake Forest University. She also serves on the St. Richard’s Episcopal School Board.

In her spare time, Melinda enjoys gardening and reading. She resides in Indianapolis with her husband and three children.

Donald C. Schultheis

Don joined the Midwest Board in 2016. He believes that "Children are the future. As a board member at Midwest Academy, I can help the school prepare kids with learning differences to make the most of their future."

Currently, Don is&nbsp;Managing Partner of Lantern Road Capital Partners, LLC. His prior experience includes serving as Managing Director at Steinberg Asset Management, as Managing Director<b>,&nbsp;</b>Head of Consultant Development at Credit Suisse Asset Management and as Partner and Managing Director at Warburg Pincus Asset Management.

He graduated With Highest Distinction from Indiana University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance.

Don is married to Lisa and has four grown children: Taylor, Adam, Matt, and Genova. He is a member of Holy Spirit Geist Catholic Church and has been active in youth sports as a coach for almost 20 years and serves as President of the Board of Directors at Beyond This, a non-profit organization.

Bill joined the Midwest Academy Board of Trustees in March 2015.  He has led the board’s fundraising/development committee and now serves as the Board’s Vice President. Professionally, Bill is a partner in the law firm of Frost Brown Todd, LLC, where he practices law in the Insurance Regulation Practice Group and the Health Care Innovation Team.

Bill currently serves on boards, including the Alpha Graduate Chapter of the Fraternity of Phi Gamma Delta, and the House Corporation of the Lambda Iota Chapter of Phi Gamma Delta at Purdue University.  He also formerly served on the Board of the Indiana Repertory Theatre, Inc., where he was active in the Governance and Nominating Committee, the Audit Committee and the theater’s annual fundraiser.

Bill received his Bachelor of Science degree from Purdue University in 1986 and his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Dayton School of Law in 1992. He lives in Carmel with his wife and his son, who is a Midwest Academy student.
